A history of traditions
The very young orangery of Piano Arancia, is located in the characteristic plain of Catania, in the territory of Mineo and is about 10 km from Grammichele, known as a city with a hexagonal plan. The garden today hosts the cultivation of the Moor, a species from the
family of oranges with red pulp. The imposing presence of the Etna volcano and the temperatures of the area give the fruit a very
deep color and make it ideal for juices. Our trees are treated exclusively with scrupulous care, without using harmful chemicals for nature and for man.

The explosion of colors
Sicily is par excellence the place where colors, scents and emotions abound. The orange peel of the oranges meets the green leaves of the plant, while the ruby red of the pulp enchants and
makes you fall in love. Moro, is the intense color of the pulp, given by the climatic conditions but above all by the dominant presence of the volcano. Inside, the fruit is usually seedless: this makes its transformation into juice really excellent, with a sweet and sour
but delicate flavor . This pigmentation makes the Moro one of the main and valuable qualities among red-fleshed oranges: it indicates the presence of anthocyanins – belonging to the flavonoid family – which perform beneficial actions for our body.
The details that matter
Every tree, even if young, carries with it its history, which begins today and will last forever. Our relationship with nature is of a direct type, we take the field in direct contact with the plant and completely natural, so as to let the shrub grow safely, in its own time, without forcing the production process.
